SMALL BEGINNINGS
Akela & John, along with Akela's parents Vicki & Bayani, moved to a humble, 5-acre hobby homestead in the summer of 2023 with their three horses and four dogs. Even with all the dogs and horses, the four of them felt like the ranch could still use some more animals, so A & J Ranch was born!
Now featured on the ranch are one more dog, 20 chickens, 7 goats, 4 heifers, 2 bulls, and 1 steer, with several more cattle out on a leased pasture.
And the best addition of all: Akela and John just welcomed twins into the world.
